Carbon Steel

Stainless Steel

We have witnessed a growing demand for stainless steel forging over the years and for good reason. While not as easy to manufacture as low alloy steel, industries primarily involved in the Department of Defense or marine industry specified this material due to its superior resistance to corrosion, low weight and high strength, and overall durability. We commonly use stainless steel to create custom flange assemblies, fasteners, rings, blanks, and disks.

We are an experienced and ISO-certified steel forging supplier in India. Our focus is on precipitation hardened (PH) stainless steel products, which are extensively used in aerospace, defense, marine, and many engineering applications. We have experience forging with PH stainless steels, specifically 17-4 and 15-5, because we know how they will perform under different conditions.

Tool Steel

Tool steel is more commonly used for exotic builds that require a very specific product-application fit. While we forge it, its use is reserved for low-volume builds since the tool steel, such as H11 and H13, is difficult to work with.

Furthermore, we offer our own Mill Test Certificate in line with EN 10204 3.1 standards.

Fluctuations in steel availability are the norm, which is why we maintain a fair degree of buffer stock with us. 1. How to choose the right steel for a project?

The correct type of steel for each application is the one that reacts appropriately to the amount of stress placed upon it by the component throughout its lifespan. Steel with low carbon is a good choice for components that require good ductility and toughness; however, stainless steel will provide excellent corrosion resistance in most cases.

2. Why is steel forging preferred over steel casting?

Steel forging, especially hot forging, is preferred over steel casting because it redistributes the grain uniformly in the direction of the component. This significantly increases the component’s strength, thereby lowering maintenance costs and adding to its operational lifespan.
