Our forged flanges portfolio covers the following basic types, with support for customization on request. 

Welding neck flange:

Designed to be butt-welded, these RTJ and RF flanges are apt for high-pressure, high-temperature work environments. We produce them to be heavy-duty, have a long operational life, and demand little in terms of maintenance. 

Blind flange:

Blind flanges help temporarily or permanently truncate a piping system. A solid disk with grooves, they are bolted to a pipe’s flange to stop media flow. In some instances, they may also be used as inspection covers. We manufacture blind flanges in flat, RTJ, and raised faces that don’t deform under sustained workloads and are corrosion-resistant.

Socket-weld flange:

These flanges are the default choice for secure joints in piping and other intensive systems. We manufacture socket-weld flanges with different bores to ensure a tight fit and zero protrusion. Once welded, these flanges stay in place, though performance is influenced by the weld’s strength.

Lap joint flange:

Lap joint flanges are often confused with slip-on flanges because they look similar. However, lap joint flanges have a slight curvature to the bore on the business end while slip-on flanges do not. This is because lap joints are designed to be used with stub ends—and we manufacture both of them. Stub ends are available across two sizes and three types; lap-joint flanges may be flat-faced or have a lip on the non-business end. 

Slip-on flange:

Slip-on flanges are simple to use and easy to work with. The lack of a bore stoppage allows them to move freely on a pipe system and join two pipelines where required. We make ours with flat and raised faces, or as per customer requirements. 

Threaded flange:

Threaded flanges are similar to slip-on flanges, except that these have an inner thread and are meant for threaded pipe ends. These can be screwed on and off, and as such are excellent for systems that require maintenance on a regular basis.

The choice of manufacturing depends on the end use of the flanges. If yours is a low-pressure, low-temperature system, you may benefit from investment casting flanges. However, if your system is high-temperature and high-pressure oriented, you will benefit from forged flanges because of their strength and durability. 

2. Which flange type is the right fit for me?

The MOQ for forged flanges is subject to multiple parameters such as custom die creation, custom design (if any), material choices, and delivery destination. 

4. What is your lead time for forged flanges?

Standard forged flanges can be shipped out in 25 – 40 days (depending on volume) once an order is placed with us. The lead time for most custom forgings will also include variables such as how long it takes to get materials, how long it takes to develop dies, the complexity of machining operations and any tests required on the part before shipping. We try to align the schedule for delivery with the timeline for your project without sacrificing quality or traceability.
